Vote By Mail
​What is the deadline to mail my ballot?
​Your ballot must be postmarked on or before Election Day (March 5, 2024) and received by the Elections Division by March 12, 2024.

Can I drop my Vote by Mail ballot off in person rather than mail it back? If so, where can I drop off my ballot?
Yes. You can return your ballot to any Vote Center by 8pm on Election Day.

What if I lost, spoiled, or never received my ballot?
If you failed to receive your vote-by-mail ballot or if you have lost or destroyed your original vote-by-mail ballot, you may apply in writing for a replacement vote-by-mail ballot through the California Replacement Vote-By-Mail Ballot Application . This application must be provided to your county elections official. Alternatively, you can go to a Vote Center or call the office of the Ventura County Clerk-Recorder and Registrar of Voters at 805-654-2664.
